On Thursday, June 17th, 2021 the City experienced another major WE Energies power surge. The power surge caused irreversible damage and failure to multiple major street lighting systems, as well as, 3 signal systems on Packard Avenue which have been temporarily repaired. Please be aware that due to the complex nature and age of underground and above ground infrastructure, as well as, significant delays currently being experienced in manufacturing supply chains, it may take several months to fully restore the damaged street lighting systems.  Click here for more info.

The outages occurred in the following areas:
S. Packard Ave - E. Grange south to E. College
E. Ramsey Ave - S. Buckhorn east to S. Lake Drive
